职位描述： RESPONSIBILITIES1. Establish, prioritise, coordinate and implement supplier development programs which will help meet the functions’ cost, quality and delivery precision targets.2. Identify and close gaps in required manufacturing capability at suppliers. Identify and close gaps to optimize process efficiency at suppliers including the application of LEAN principles. Plan and deliver improvement projects to given timescales.3. Work at keys supplier sites to identify and close gaps in manufacturing capability, introduce and promote LEAN principles & methodically. Plan and deliver improvement projects to given timescales.4. Use Design For Manufacture/Assembly knowledge and experience to influence the Product Development Engineers towards component designs that allow efficient and capable manufacturing processes.5. Use formal risk assessment tools to assess new manufacturing and supply chain processes and implement mitigation action plans as required to meet business objective and targets.6. Represent Procurement during the Product Creation Process and ensure design for manufacture and design for assembly best practices are implemented.7. Review design documentation of new or modified products and accept on behalf of SC&M as fit for purpose.8. Provide technical support to supplier re-sourcing programs.9. Benchmark best practice and help implement and communicate such practices, where relevant for Elekta.10. Help establish Supply Chain risks and mitigation plans for business continuity.11. Attain a high competence level in, and continually develop, personal skills in Value Engineering techniques, LEAN process techniques, SAFe and problem solving techniques, and use in daily work.12. Be a centre of expertise to help develop others’ skills and knowledge in the department.13. Identify opportunities for reducing costs and increasing supplier performance and action these.14. Support the standardisation of Supplier Development processes across Elekta and action improvement where required.15. Support Make versus Buy decisions.16. Work to and help develop the Quality Management System.RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES1. A strong electro-mechanical engineering and manufacturing background is essential.2. A minimum of HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent.3. Demonstrable experience of successful regular use of LEAN tools and/or problem solving techniques and/or process improvement and/or value engineering.4. Proven track record of delivering supplier development objectives an advantage.5. Demonstrable experience of working with external suppliers (and/or other Elekta Product Supply Centre’s) based across the world.6. Demonstrable experience of working within product creation environment using DFM/A skills.7. Demonstrable record of delivering stretching targets and successfully managing concurrent tasks.8. Demonstrable evidence of results oriented behaviour.9. Successful and demonstrable experience of facilitating improvement workshops or forums an advantage.10. Strong interpersonal communication and positive influencing skills, capable of working on own initiative whilst also being an effective team player.11. Well-developed IT skills and fluent in English, preferably with a second language.12. Able to work in a dual reporting matrix environment and work independently.13.
