Position purpose:The Bayer Pharma – R&D - Innovation Center China (ICC), located in Beijing China, is an integral part of BPH Research. ICC serves as the interface of BPH-Research with academia and biotech industries in China. Its key objective is to implement the China Strategy of BPH Research, which includes the following:1.Leverage China’s innovation potential through focused mid- to long-term strategic collaborations with R&D leaders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ultimately contributing to innovation and pipeline growth at BPH.2.Establish partnerships with selected CRO/Biotech/academia for unique capability and added flexibility supporting the R&D strategy implementation along the value chain of research.Job Description:?Support the implementation of BPH partnership strategy to generate values for Bayer Pharma’s core drug discovery research areas including Oncology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Gynecological Diseases.?Support strategic Alliance Managers in the team.?Support collaboration projects to ensure the objectives are reached timely. Support optimal project decision-making through timely and appropriate identification of issues and documentation of joint decisions. Ensure regular communication schemes, steering committees, documentation/administration, budget planning, tracking of results with high integrity and support establishing trustful relationship with partners.?Understand the value chain, organizational landscape, and internal needs of BPH Research and give feedback about opportunities available in China?Search collaboration and project opportunities from academia and biotech/CRO in China that are of interest or value to internal colleagues for BPH research, using various approaches. Recommend partnerships/projects which have a clear fit with BPH research evolving needs or existing gaps. Perform landscape analysis on selected focus topics.?Facilitate collaborative interactions between external parties and internal colleagues.?Support opportunity evaluation and negotiation, and establishment of collaboration projects. Communicate and document the opportunities and related discussions appropriately.?Support the operational setup of ICC, including payment processes, contract processes, budget tracking, scientific event planning.Value added:Support establishing and maintaining a comprehensive overview over the Chinese R&D landscape and identify key decisions makers, KOLs, and R&D leaders in relevant life science disciplines for BPH research.Support collaboration projects with CRO/Biotech/academia in China to complement BPH research internal resources and competences. Through alliances, ultimately meet BPH research strategic objectives and contribute to the innovative pipeline.Requirements:?Advanced (e.g. PhD) degree in chemistry, biology, or related life science, preferably from a Western country, with good publication record. ?At least 1-2 years working experience related to industrial drug discovery.?Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Good knowledge of life science and R&D landscape in China is a plus.?Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining networks and partnerships.?Proficient planning and organizational skills in order to handle multiple tasks.?Must be highly driven with a strong motivation to succeed, goal oriented, detail oriented, and a great team player.?Understand both Chinese and Western cultures and be sensitive to cultural behavior differences. 职能类别： 医药技术研发人员 生物工程/生物制药 关键字： 医学 研发
