Department Description:Rigid FoamTasks Description- Take care technical development in innovation projects related toPUR rigid foam in construction industry ( like pipe insulation, sprayfoam, discontinuous panel and etc.) and other industry in line with PURAPAC strategy and in collaboration with other internal groups(Commercial Operation, Industry Marketing,Regional Product management,system house and etc.) and external stakeholders(customers, rawmaterial suppliers, machine manufacturers and etc.)to develop newtechnology and new products to support PUR rigid foam business.- Provide effective and efficient technical support to ourcustomers to ensure that the developed system is applied at thecustomer under the best possible conditions resulting in the bestperformance of the foam systems on the customer lines so that ourmaterials can be used to the benefit of the customer and Covestro.- Utilize regional & global PUR technical resources and know-how forprojects related to China/APAC to secure long-term businessgrowth in China/APAC.- Collect customers technical needs, competitive technical info andmarket trend for rigid foam in China, identify the new businessopportunity and transfer it to new innovation project and then intoreal business.- work with CO and IM team to support existing customers, develop newcustomers, and develop business strategy in China.- Evaluate raw material in China and screen out candidate with highperformance and low cost for formulated PET in China system house.Provide technical support to our system house in China.- Support to develop PUR-AD-Rigid Foam team into a value drivenorganization by applying IM concepts, using respective project toolsand securing cost-efficiency.Requirements DescriptionPosition: Skills,...-Bachelor degree or above, major in Chemistry->8 years working experience in technical area in polyurethane industry-Good polyurethane rigid foam technical knowledge with R&D work andtechnical service experience (preferred: pipe insulation).-High degree of analytical thinking and problem solving skill.-Capability to identify industry technology trends and createinnovation solutions to meet market demands, and provide effective andefficient technical support to customers.-Capability to manage complexity in a structured and prioritized way-Good interpersonal skill with internal/external customers.-Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese-Willing to travel 职能类别： 生物/制药/医疗器械
