OVERVIEW: Associates with MS degree and 3+ years or Ph.D. degree with 1+ year(s) of industry experiences to manage all aspects of product within assigned product categories and/or brands. The toxicologist will be part of global team responsible for the overall safety assessments from raw material to finished product following a brand-centric model and is also responsible for preparation of cosmetic safety reports according to EU regulation and CFDA requirements. The associate will be the key SME for the assigned areas of toxicology as well as having thorough knowledge of safety requirements for specific countries assigned. RESPONSIBLITIES:Accountable for conducting safety review of raw materials and finished product following both EU safety requirements and China Technical & Safety StandardsCommunicate on anything related to raw material and finished product safety within the brand or categories assigned at broader global levelResponsible for conducting final review of product safety assessments and sign-off after thorough reviewContinue to optimize executional processes and drive better alignment with cross functional partners for better effectiveness and efficiencySupporting regional senior management communicate directly with third party labs and external consultants when challenges or different formulation/raw materials are encounteredSupporting regional product safety manager and director on specific requests from assigned regionsSupporting regional senior management on post market surveillance and cosmetic adverse event monitoring, analyzing and reportingResponsible for working with regional safety manager and director to analyze and project future safety evaluation and testing needs and build the toolbox to support countries assignedQUALIFICATIONS:A Ph.D. in Toxicology, Dermatology, Pharmacology, Biology, Chemistry or related majors and 1+ years of industry experience in personal care/cosmetics or related industry or a Master degree with 3+ years of experience and is used to a fast-paced working environment Knowledgeable about global regulations and safety positions on ingredients and products Chinese Registered Toxicologist, DABT or ERT preferred or candidate is capable of acquiring such credentials Interested candidates please send your resume to talents@mast.com.Candidates not invited for interview within 8 weeks may consider their applications unsuccessful.
