职位描述: Job facts - Primary Purpose of Job - Proactively develop and execute the publication plan for allocated products/disease areas in alignment with the product’s lifecycle strategy and manage the plan over the course of the lifecycle; Ensure high quality publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters,) executed in a timely manner and in compliance with Roche SOPs/guidelines and best practices; Serves as the functional expert and the primary liaison for activities related to publications; Publication team build-up & people development (if applicable). - Principle Roles & Responsibilities / Accountabilities - Develop the publication plan - Lead the development of publication plan for assigned product(s)/disease areas, comprising publication strategy, high level and tactical planning through work with brand team. - Organize appropriate analyses (e.g. landscape, situation, gap analyses) and identification of publication needs to inform publication strategy. - Proactively provide input to medical strategy and to clinical development plans. - Drive the agreement of priorities in the China Publication Team and the setting of publication goals in Medical Brand Team. - Drive alignment of publication plan with lifecycle plan (including PDY) and medical plan. - Execute the publication plan - Select and manage external publication agencies to develop timelines and manage the process for development, review, approval and submission of publications. - Ensure appropriate reflection of tactical plan and execution process in publication tracking file/dashboard and manage tracking file/dashboard for assigned product(s) . - Facilitate and oversee generation of planned publication until actual publication. - Actively engage in generation of high priority publication. - Pro-actively engage in issue identification and resolution and ensure appropriate escalation. - Arrange publication assistance to the generation of publications on data from supported studies. - Manage assigned budget. - Ensure that publication is generated in compliance with company guidelines, SOPs and best practices. - Track respective publication metrics. - Effectively communicate on execution progress. - Serves as the functional expert and the primary liaison for activities related to publications communication and education. - Lead cross functional China Publication Team. - Foster knowledge of and adherence to Good Publication Practice across the organization. - Lead or contribute to cross-functional project and key China Medical Affair initiatives. - Establish effective and strategic working relationships with Therapeutic Area Experts. - Liaise effectively cross-functionally to ensure proper communication on publication related aspects. - Context and Responsibilities - Is an affiliate role in Headquarters (Shanghai) and requires travel. The job accountabilities apply to publications for molecules and brand products with China Medical Affairs. - Leads the China Publication Team. - Is part of the Medical Communication and Project Management within China Medical Affairs - Report to - Group Publication Manager. - Outputs - Publication plan, comprising publication strategy, 3- year high level and tactical planning. - Communication of publication related output/activities to appropriate stakeholders. - Decision Making Authority - Execution of agreed publication plan and other publication activities. - Escalation of issues. - Agency management aspects. - Management of agreed budget.Who you are You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. You’re looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests across functions and geographies- Where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are, but the starting point. - Education/Qualification - Major in Clinical Medicine, Pharmaceutical or life science related subjects. - Advanced degree in Science (PhD, PharmD or MD) strongly preferred. - Experience 2 or more years’ professional experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry or biomedical research or related experience (preferably in clinical development, medical affairs, or medical publication agency). - Experience with interpretation and presentation of scientific data. - Significant experience in planning and generating publications; additional experience in pre-clinical or clinical development, product marketing or scientific communications is preferred. - Experience successfully managing agencies or project management. - Relevant therapeutic area experience (as typically measured by 2 or more years’ experience) is preferred. - Knowledge - Knowledge of standards and guidelines relevant to Medical Affairs - Knowledge of drug development and commercialization processes - Proven abilities with a wide range of data/information: scientific/clinical, safety, legal/regulatory, medical writing, analytics, etc. - Solid understanding of the role of publications in science. - Therapeutic area knowledge is preferred - Working knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, legal and regulatory environments for publications. - Understanding of product and safety profiles. - Excellence in written and spoken English. - Job Required Competencies - High standard of integrity and be familiar with good publication standards. - Publishing and communicating compelling scientific evidence to demonstrates the value of specific products - Cooperate with a cross-functional team - Proven success at leading and managing agencies. - Experience in therapeutic area/China marketing preferred. - Good interpersonal, communication negotiation and collaborative skills with individuals, groups and senior management. - Excellent planning and project management skills. - Proven ability to influence and persuade. - Understanding and knowledge of TAEs in specified therapy areas. - Fluent in both written and spoken English and good PC skill.Who we are - Roche China consists of Roche Pharmaceuticals and Roche Diagnostics, with more than 7,000 employees.
