职位描述:
JOB TITLE: Legal counsel
Location: Shanghai
1. PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
Main task is to assist general counsel in providing timely and professional legal service to internal clients and ensure company’s business operations compliance with local laws, industry code and company’s guidelines.
(1) Provide timely and professional legal service to internal clients, mainly including (without limitation to): providing legal advice on daily operation, reviewing and drafting bilingual legal documents, conducting legal research etc.
(2) Assist general counsel in designing local legal/compliance guideline, and then proactively work w/ internal clients to ensure the proper implementation of the guideline, e.g. play the role from legal in daily distribution management, play the role from legal in daily business courtesy reviewing, etc.
(3) Assist general counsel in implementing global legal / compliance program in local organization; localizing global templates/guidelines, conducting relevant trainings and communication to internal clients with general counsel’s support
(4) Manage company’s chop from legal perspective according to company’s relevant policy/procedure
(5) Other tasks or projects assigned by general counsel
2. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
Experience & Personality:
(1) 4 or 5 + year experience in recognized firm or multinational company’s legal function, the experience in healthcare industry being a plus
(2) International exposure, strong business ability to develop and maintain a network across multiple levels within the local and global organization
(3) Self-motivated, clear thinker, good communicator and team player
Education & Knowledge:
(1) University degree or above with a major in law from top law schools
(2) Admitted in PRC Bar, good understanding of PRC law in contract and general corporate work
(3) Proficiency in both spoken and written English, good legal writing is critical
(4) High integrity
