职位描述：
? Category Leadership: Proactively increase influence on cross-sector R&D spends, enhance local and regional category management and supplier management capabilities to meet business requirement; Lead spend analysis and market place assessment for key strategic vendor partners.
? Supplier Management: Responsible for performance management of key suppliers; Support the optimization of the supply base to allow better leverage of suppliers across sectors, reduce redundant audit screening and create greater efficiencies.
? Stakeholder Management: Represent Procurement in R&D, Production, Facility and Engineering meetings to support timely delivery of service to operations; Develop strong partnership with Scientific & Finance team to drive spend efficiencies and operational excellence.
? Procurement Activities: Manage assigned commodity purchasing activity in line with procedures. Ensure that Quality and EHS requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the responsibilities defined in the Company’s Safety Statement; Provide support to all compliance related initiatives.
? Implements and administers standard Procurement policies and processes for multiple departments/geographic area, client group, or functional project.
? Will have the autonomy and authority to make decisions for his/her category.
? Must have excellent communication skills, be results oriented and customer-focused.
? Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary.
? Exercises judgment within scope in developing new approaches and resolving issues
? Bachelor degree preferred, although appropriate experience could count toward degree requirement; Major in a life science or business preferred. Depending upon level, would prefer advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, JD, MBA)
? Project Management experience is a strong plus.Must have excellent communication skills, be results oriented and customer-focused.
? Demonstrated procurement or negotiating experience, 3-5 years minimum. ? Experience as a user or provider of outsourced services
? Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and in drug development is a plus.
