POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY STATEMENT
Vitaco is a leading New Zealand health company, employs nearly 400 health-passionate people, exports and distributes products worldwide, contract manufactures and packs for private label clients worldwide. The parent company is Shanghai Pharma, a listed company in Shanghai and Hong Kong market.
As a proactive business partner, work closely with SPH Group CFO and Vitaco General Manager in setting and meeting the strategic goals of the business and supporting growth objectives, provide overall financial management through strong controllership, treasury, tax, reporting, planning and business analysis, and cost functions, give forward-looking alarms and measures in terms of finance, risk control and due diligences, etc.
Ensure the implementation of the tax and compliances, as by law enacted and in full respect of company policy and procedure; ensure the implementation of control systems consistent with corporate strategies and organizational models defined; ensure the identification of opportunities for sustainable business in terms of return on investment and in line with the corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategy – o Keep the Group, Board and Executive aware of the financial position and financial development of the business.o Provide the Group with performance report and analysis, and perform ad hoc projects as assigned by the Group from time to time. o Develop key performance indicators to monitor and drive financial performance; with General Manager develop and deliver overall remuneration strategy· Finance – o Manage the preparation of the business planning, annual budget, forecast, monthly reporting and procedures of the Group on time.o Responsible for day to day work, e.g. cost control and gross profitability improvement by product lines, management of SG&A costs, financial statements, returns and reporting for all Vitaco related entities in each relevant jurisdiction, ensure adequacy of insurance coverage, oversee and monitor effective tax strategies. · Commercial – o Enabling business development strategies.o Evaluates impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies/regulatory action; commercial analysis and negotiations.o Legal and contract management in all relevant jurisdictions.· Treasury – o Manage the treasury in accordance with the procedures of the Group. o Responsible for treasury and foreign exchange management; strategic cash flow, working capital and liquidity management; o Manage external debt facilities. Manage relationships with lenders, Negotiate renewal of facilities and ensure compliance with all facility terms· Risk –o Oversee Vitaco’s processes for identifying, assessing and managing the principal risks of the business, ensuring effective internal controls are in place.o Co-ordinate the annual audit and any special or non-recurring audit with external auditors.o Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and taxation requirements for all jurisdictions applicable to Vitaco business.o Liaise with third party expertise on specialist and risk mitigation matters; accountable for administration of delegated authorities· IS / IT – o Oversee and monitor information technology across all Vitaco operations; develop strategy, facilitate and resource future IT capability for Vitaco’s business needs.· Leadership – o Member of Lead Team; maintain strong relationships with senior executives to deliver joint business solutions; lead and drive strategic decision making processes across executive and ELT.o Ensure appropriate capability and ongoing training for all financial, accounting, audit and fiscal matters, deliver talent management plans across all finance related functions. o Enable all Vitaco team members to deliver superior financial outcomes through inspiring leadership and specific financial objectives; o Represent Vitaco externally to enhance our reputation; Role model for Vitaco Values, Vision, Purpose and Strategic Pillars.Qualification:
· Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance or Accounting, CPA /MBA is preferred.· Minimum 10 years of financial management experience; at least five years of working experience in senior financial management in multinational companies.· Good understanding of and rich practical experience in FMCG and healthcare industries.· Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead across geographically dispersed teams and businesses· Strong sense of urgency and results orientation.· High level of integrity and dependability.· Business proficient verbal and written Chinese and English.
