Typical Accountabilities:• Delivers technical aspects of a product, component or packing process, managing delivery and trouble-shooting problems in order to deliver solutions that improve the effectiveness of AstraZeneca infrastructure and service delivery• Makes judgements on project direction and delivery decisions that are key to project success and that require consideration of wider business implications. Resolves specific technical concerns only escalating the most complex technical issues for resolution• Reviews working practices in the context of both advancements in AstraZeneca delivery capability and broader best practice approaches, adapting own project delivery to enhance efficiency and sharing best practice with others• Analyses project requirements, determines delivery model, recommends and agrees action plan with project stakeholders• Monitors agreed priorities, and reviews technical/packaging improvements and projects to keep to plan• Keeps up to date with developments within the industry and understands how they may impact the function• Positively supports on-going management of change, and the associated uncertainty in own work area• Balances conflicting priorities, taking into account the wider business implications• Supports the preparation of information for discussion at higher levels within the business tailored for the needs of both technical and non-technical audiences, e.g. business case documents, improvement plans, priorities, investigation reports, quality or performance improvement recommendationsTypical People Management Responsibility (direct / indirect reports):• Approximate number of people managed in total (all levels) - 0What is the global remit? (how many countries will the role operate in?):• Own countryEducation, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:• Essential: Degree qualified with a comprehensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry; Has, or is working towards, a professional qualification; Relevant manufacturing experience; Understanding of project management principles; Understanding of the manufacturing and/or engineering processes, Good Manufacturing Practice, Safety, Health and Environment, Standard Operating Procedures, regulatory and compliance standards• Desirable: Understands many aspects of product supply chains and machine-component interfaceKey Relationship to reach solutions:• Internal (to AZ or team): Wide range of contacts required across Operations, Quality Assurance and the supply chain• External (to AZ):
